COBALT BOATS WELCOMES NEW PRESIDENT, TERRY CLARK

Cobalt Boats is proud to welcome Terry Clark of Independence, Kansas as company President. Terry was formerly with Textron Aviation, recently formed by the merger of Cessna and Beech Aircraft. Terry has 25 years of experience in leadership in top-performing manufacturing, sales and service operations in the aviation industry and 10 years of experience in the machining, metal forming and tooling industry. Terry’s experience with performance management systems, productivity maximization, and systems and logistics excellence will further enhance Cobalt’s leadership team.

Clark obtained a Masters of Science degree with an emphasis in manufacturing engineering from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. He did undergraduate work at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri and Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in Miami, Oklahoma.

During his tenure in the aviation industry, Clark held positions of increasing responsibility to include General Manager of Beech’s Salina facility, General Manager of Cessna’s Columbus, Georgia facility, General Manager of Cessna’s Independence, Kansas, facility and President of CitationAir based out of Greenwich, Connecticut.

Mr. Clark is an active commercial/instrument pilot and resides in Independence with his wife Patti. Their children include daughter Jennifer, of Woodland Park, Colorado, son Ryan, from Tulsa, Oklahoma and their son Ben who works in Independence, Kansas. Terry is also the grandfather of three granddaughters and one grandson. Clark enjoys flying and refurbishing his 1953 Cessna 180 and 1945 J3 Cub from his grass runway near Independence.
