TORONTO BOAT SHOW: BEWARE OF MISREPRESENTATION

Tibs Fraud

We caution you to beware of companies “appearing” to be representing the Toronto Boat Show while soliciting hotel reservations or exhibitor listing information when, in fact, they are in no way associated with the Toronto Boat Show.

The Sheraton Centre Toronto and Westin Harbour Castle Toronto are our Official Boat Show Hotels. No third-party suppliers are affiliated with either, and these hotels WILL NOT call or email exhibitors to solicit reservations. Each is offering Special Boat Show Rates until Wed., Dec. 16, 2015: $101/night (single/double, at the Sheraton or Westin Harbour); $156/night (club level, single/double, at the Sheraton). Exhibitors book reservations directly — by phone or via the online reservation links provided above.

Adastra Media Inc. produces our Official Boat Show Guide in conjunction with Kerrwil Publications. Exhibitor listings are included, FREE of charge, and Exhibitor Listing forms are distributed to exhibitors with space renewal emails.

Click here to see a recent Expo Guide SC email sent to an exhibitor, requesting listings information. This request has NOTHING to do with the Toronto Boat Show and our Official Boat Show Guide – and you will note a $1676 US charge in the small print at the bottom!

Scams and misrepresentation of services are common to all trade shows, so please remain diligent! You may also contact Show Manager Cynthia Hare with any questions or concerns at 905-951-4054 or chare@canadianboatshows.com.
