Dr Sails

Dr. Sails is pleased to announce the appointment of Evolution Sails Canada as the new Canadian distributor for its quality line of adhesive products. Dr. Sails, based in Barcelona Spain, are innovators of adhesives for outdoor use in marine or commercial applications.

Vicenc Ferrer, North American market manager of Dr. Sails, states “We are pleased to bring Dr. Sails into the Canadian market place. Evolution Sails Canada is part of a global sailmaking group that understands their customer’s needs.”

Dr. Sails is a unique strong flexible adhesive that allows the sailor to make repairs anywhere in the sail whether it is wet or dry. Damaged hulls below the waterline or delaminated decks have been successfully repaired with Dr. Sails.

“Whether sailing in the Great Lakes or offshore our customers were always concerned about how to make sail repairs while underway. Small tears in lower load areas are manageable to patch but what about the larger ones”, says Greg Bratkiw. Dr. Sails is a great solution to this common concern and problem experienced by sailors of all levels.

The showroom and warehouse will be located in Toronto at the Evolution Sails loft. The company will also be exhibiting at the Toronto International Boat Show from January 8th-17th , 2016 in booth 1647 in the Sailfest section in Hall D.
