This not only means it is important to keep your member profile up to date, it is also a great opportunity for you to advertise upcoming events to the general public through the Boating BC Event Calendar. 

This calendar is available to all Boating BC members as a way of advertising events such as a boat show, open house, charity event, educational sessions, and much more. To post your next event:

Log in to the Boating BC website (www.boatingbc.ca) with you company’s main user account.

Go to Member Area in the top right corner.

Go to Post an Event and fill in the online form.

January Pleasure Craft Licensing Statistics

Transport Canada’s pleasure craft licensing statistics for the month of January are available for download. For the 2014 year, 4,917 new pleasure craft license were issues in British Columbia.
